Continuing Education Unit (CEUs)
Description

Ten clock hours is equivalent to 1 Continuing Education Unit. CEUs are often among the criteria used by employers and licensing bodies to determine promotion, salary increase and credential renewal for educators.

Micro-credentials
Description

Micro-credentials are a way to validate that a competency has been mastered in a particular subject area or practice. ASU works with an increasing number of schools to formally recognize micro-credentials.

Academic credit at ASU
Description

Educators who complete a credit-eligible specialization (facilitated and graded) can apply to ASU’s MA in Education program and receive academic credit. At present, only one eligible 9-credit specialization block can be brought into the ASU MA in Education.

Description
For completing a course, learners receive a certificate of completion. Additional earning options include the following:
